The Goodwill Industries Ambassador trailer will be at the First United Methodist Church at 307 S. Wilson in Jefferson June 15-22.
Donations will be processed and sold in local Goodwill stores to support the programs and services Goodwill Industries provide for people with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions.
Items accepted for resale include good, clean usable clothing and shoes; house wares and small furniture; books, CDs and videos; collectibles; usable toys; electronics in working condition; and computer accessories.
Goodwill accepts items for recycling including dry clothing in any condition; computers and accessories; cell phones in need of repair; all used printer ink cartridges; metal; books; shoes, purses and belts (in any condition); kitchen utensils; soft toys (any condition); and paper (newspaper, magazines) and cardboard.
Donors are asked to place the items in the front of the trailer to provide the best use of space available.
Goodwill can not accept large appliances; paint; chemicals; used oil; air conditioners; wet clothing; large furniture or furniture needing repair; TVs; tires; box springs/mattresses; and encyclopedia.
